We cannot forget the date 26th of November, this date is mentioned in Indian history which is Mumbai. In the 107th episode of “maan ki baat” Prime minister Narendra Modi remembered the Mumbai incident which happened 15 years ago on the same day. The people of who lost their live was remembered today by our President Smt. Droupadi Murmu also twitted.
The incident
The evening of 26 November 2008, 9:30 pm when Mumbai faced terrorist attack the at many places like hospitals, theatre, Chhatrapati Shivaji railway station and the popular Leopold Café. Total 10 terrorist came and with guns and grenades. They were armed by the weapons and were targeting civilians. At the movement, no humanity was seen on the site. Those who remember will never be able to forget the scenario. The southern part of Mumbai was in fear many people were losing their lives and their loved ones. Survivors were left traumatized, and the entire nation was left reeling from the senseless violence.
The attack continued for some hour. For other 48 hours Nariman House, where a Jewish outreach center was located, and the luxury hotels Oberoi Trident and Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, they made everyone their hostage. It was a scene which made people shiver. The attack lasted for 4 days and all most 166 people lost their lives and 300 were injured. In them also 26 were foreigners.
Nine out of ten terrorist were killed, and one was arrested the link was found from Pakistan. They were trained arms of Pakistan.
The attack was like a shockwave across the world it made the city of Mumbai to a standstill. It was a tragic event that deeply affected and horrified the lives of countless individuals. In the aftermath of the attack, there was an outpouring of support and solidarity for the victims and their families. The resilience and bravery of the people of Mumbai were evident as they came together to rebuild and heal from the devastation. The Mumbai terror attack serves as a reminder of the enduring spirit of humanity in the face of tragedy.
Prime Minister on ‘Maan ki baat’
Prime minister Narendra Modi’s the 107th episode of “maan ki baat” he mentioned the day and the victims of the Mumbai attack, the heroes who lost their live while saving others. He said we cannot forget the day. “But it is India’s capability that we recovered from that attack and now we are also crushing terrorism with full courage,” PM Modi added. He later added. Further he talked about 26th November 1949. India constitution was Adopted by Constituent Assembly of India.

Droupadi Murmu also twitted today and remembered the most heinous incident she said that the whole nation should be grateful for the sacrifice the life for the Nations security she further said that people who lost her life the process of saving the motherland are a heroic soul “A grateful nation remembers with pain all the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. We stand with their families who lost their loved ones in the attack. honoring the memory of the brave souls. We all are grateful for the warriors of the forces and all the people who were brave and trying to save others. The pain of the people can never be felt but we always stand for them. We will always remember them and will be grateful As an Indian citizen and others, should take the pledge to fight against terrorism. We always stand with our country and respect our motherland.
