When we talk about the youngsters and their health the list expected to be shorter than the elder population. but sadly, the list is too long of the diseases, health problems and their causes. It is often seen that children and youngsters are not paying attention to their health.
Most of them skip their meal and the pressure they keep on young adult are suffering from some of the problem which are not usual in them. The cases are overwork load peer pressure, eating habit like skipping meals, drinking habits, poor sleep cycle and many more. Generational gap between their family is one of the reasons of stress and tension due to fights. Contaminated food fast food is the reason of obesity, anemia, diabetes cholesterol and many more.
During Lock down many people suffered from depression, mostly the extrovert people. those who used to be active and very fond of talking to new people and meeting them, after lockdown they were packed inside their homes. In that scenario many committed suicide, and many started taking drugs.

1.Mental health: Children and young people’s mental health and well-being have been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in India where they experienced agony and uncertainty that no kid should have to witness. Additionally, just 41% of young people in India agreed with the UNICEF research that seeking help for mental health issues is a good idea, compared to an average of 83% across 21 countries. Furthermore, by the age of 14, half of all adult mental health illnesses begin, although the majority of these cases go undiagnosed and untreated. Neurological conditions, including epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s diseases are also found in young people more than elders. 
2.Violence and injuries: Among the world’s primary causes of death and disability among teenagers and young adults are violence and injuries. Among the leading causes of injury-related mortality in this age range are motor vehicle accidents, drowning, interpersonal violence, self-harm, and collective violence. 2019 saw 115 000 teenagers (10–19 years old) pass away in car crashes, while over 30 000 teenagers—more than three quarters of them were boys—drowned. In low- and middle-income nations in the WHO Region of the Americas, interpersonal violence accounts for almost one-third of all teenage male fatalities.
3.Non-communicable illnesses: Unhealthy lifestyles and environmental factors are contributing to the ri youse in the prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) among younger individuals. These diseases include diabetes, obesity, cancer disease. According to a Harvard study, young individuals are becoming more obese and more likely to have diabetes, yet their blood pressure and blood sugar management are not significantly improving. They fear that these patterns might indicate that younger persons in their 20s, 30s, and 40s are experiencing deteriorating cardiovascular health. An increasing issue among kids and teenagers is obesity, which affected 124 million of them in 2016. 
4.Reproductive health: For girls in particular, reproductive health is a critical component of teenage and early adult health and wellbeing. In 2021, there were 42 births worldwide per 1000 girls between the ages of 15 and 19.
In addition to social and economic drawbacks, adolescent pregnancy and delivery are linked to higher rates of maternal and newborn mortality and morbidity. Furthermore, youth health is seriously threatened by sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV, particularly in areas where STI incidence is high and access to preventive and treatment services is limited.

Cardiovascular diseases: these include hypertension, heart disease, and stroke. The children under the age of 25 are suffering from heart disease. Young boys and girls are dying due to heart attacks are so frequent now a days.
Diseases of the respiratory system, including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This disease is found in the infant to elderly people. No one can say it happens to a particular group of people 3. Autoimmune disorders: including multiple sclerosis, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis. 
Liver disorders, including cirrhosis and hepatitis.
kidney diseases: kidney stones and chronic renal illness are among them. The trend of having alcohol and drugs is influenced by movies and series. It has badly affected the health of youngsters and their kidneys. At last, the youngest are allowed to have fun but health is important too.
