In response to a tip-off, the police embarked on an investigation into the office location of an AI start-up. It was found that the company’s registered address was a virtual office space, with no physical presence. The CEO of the start-up, Suchana Seth, was later apprehended by the Goa Police in Karnataka’s Chitradurga.
Seth, who had previously lived in an apartment in Bengaluru’s Thanisandra, had vacated the property about four months prior to the investigation. Her LinkedIn profile portrays her as a prominent figure in the AI industry, being the CEO of Mindful AI Lab and recognized as one of the top ‘100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics for 2021’. She is credited with over 12 years of experience in mentoring data science teams and implementing machine learning solutions at start-ups and research labs.
