Prime Minister Modi took a big decision in the morning regarding farmers and then another announcement was made in the first cabinet meeting to provide relief to the poor and middle class. The first meeting of the government approved the construction of three million new houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

According to Talouslehti’s report, the center should work on the creation of a new export agency. Among other things, the negotiations on the acquisition of Rafale M fighter planes and the reforms of the DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization) are open.
The controversial Agnipathi recruitment for soldiers may also be discussed after a strong demand from BJP’s coalition partners Janata Dal-United and Jana Shakti Party (Ram Vilas).
In addition, from July 1, the Ministry of the Interior will monitor the implementation of the new criminal laws. The Modi government is also expected to step up its efforts to hold general elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
Last month, Union Minister Amit Shah said polls would be held in the Union Territory before the Supreme Court’s September 30 deadline.
