Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday hit out at the opposition, saying these “false stories being spread” are enemies of development, investment, and employment.
“Recently, RBI released a report on jobs. According to the report, about 8 million new jobs have been created in the country in the last 3-4 years. These figures have been silenced by the spreaders of false stories.
People are against investment, infrastructure, and development of the country and now they are revealed. The citizens of the country reject their conspiracy,” the Prime Minister said at an event in Mumbai where he laid the foundation for development projects costing over Rs 29,400 crore.

“Our motive is to change the quality of life in Mumbai, therefore, connectivity in Mumbai has improved. Mumbai completed the beach road and Atal Setu, and you may remember that there was misinformation spread about Atal Setu.
All efforts have been made to stop it, but it is a win-win,” the prime minister said at the event, which was also attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar.
“I am told that about 20,000 vehicles use it every day. It also saves about 20,000-25,000 rupees on fuel.

PM Modi shared his vision for Mumbai and said that he wants to make the city the fintech capital of the world.
