Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut on Monday came under fire from a Congress MP and the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) after the latter talked a lot about “Hindus” in the Lok Sabha.
Ranaut, the newly elected BJP MP from Mandi, wrote to X, “Apart from all the irresponsible statements that Rahul Gandhi ji made in his first speech as Leader of the Opposition, he also mentioned that he is not one Rahul, actually there are two tails, one lives for the constitution now and second, he KILLED.
This is not funny, Rahul Ji should seek therapy sessions immediately, the pressure of the family/mother to be someone else can create an identity crisis, Rahul ji’s statement has a lot of paradoxes, conflicts, and pain. Rahul ji also told the honorable defense minister that he also saw two tails. Such statements are alarming, and I cannot stop thinking about the psychological background of such behavior in Parliament.
Rahul Gandhi’s Lok Sabha Speech
“Attacking the ruling BJP, Gandhi asserted that Hinduism is not about spreading fear, hatred, and lies. Prime Minister Narendra Modi intervened and “BJP and RSS are not patriotic in all areas,” said, calling the entire Hindu society violent, he said, accusing the BJP of spreading violence and hatred directed at Christians and Muslims.
“You incite violence and hatred against Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, and other minorities. You frighten them. What actions have minorities taken? The former Congress leader remarked, “They make India proud and represent India in every field.” “They stand firm as mountains with India, they are patriots and you have attacked all minorities, spread violence and hatred against them,” he stated.
Gandhi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that Mahatma Gandhi was brought to life through the film, but the father of the nation was always alive. He argued that small and medium enterprises, which are the backbone of India’s employment, have been decimated by the flawed GST and demonetization. “The result today is that whatever they do, the youth of India cannot get jobs. Job creation, backbone is broken, done,” he said.
“I went to Gujarat and talked to textile owners. I asked them why demonetization and GST happened. They have clearly said that GST and demonetization are done to help billionaires. Narendra Modi works for billionaires, it’s a simple matter,” he asserted. “I will continue there and this time we will defeat you in Gujarat. You can write it, the All-India opposition will defeat you in Gujarat,” the Congress leader said.
Gandhi claimed that there was a systematic attack on the Constitution, the idea of India, and all the ideas proposed by the BJP. “Many of us have been personally attacked.
Some of our leaders are still in prison. One of our leaders has just been released, the other is still in prison,” he said, clearly referring to the former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who was recently granted bail in the case, and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who remains in custody in a corruption case related to the alleged excise duty scam. Gandhi said that he was happy and proud to be in the opposition because “for us, there is more than force, there is truth, but for you, there is only force”.
“So, when Shiv Ji puts the snake around his neck, he says: “I accept the truth and I will not shrink from the truth… Behind Shiv Ji’s shoulder is a Trishul Now I want you to understand, that there is a reason that Trishul, a weapon, was his shoulder, it is not a symbol of violence, it is a symbol of non-violence,” he said.
Gandhi said this after becoming the Leader of the Opposition, all his dreams, hopes, and fears had to be put aside. I am a constitutional person, and my job is to be the leader of the opposition to represent all these parties equally. I don’t represent only Congress party, I represent every party and I have to treat every party with love and affection,” he said.
“So, if Hemant Soren Ji is in jail or Arvind Kejriwal Ji is in jail, it should bother me and hurt me. If you release your agency against these political people, it is our job to protect them,” he said. Gandhi said that this country has a government and “we, like it or not, are the government of your country.
India elected “But I would say to you that as individuals as members, as a government, you do not spread fear in this country, you do not spread hatred in this country, listen to the farmers of this country, you listen to the students. of this country,” he said.
