On 8th March Elvish Yadav, popular vlogger, and Big Boss OTT 2 winner was allegedly accused of a brutal assault on his fellow YouTube rival Sagar Thakur, known as Maxtern.
The attack video which is highly trending on social media where the OTT winner is seen with a mob of 8-10 people busted into the garment store where Maxtern was sitting and started physical violence with punches and kicks around 12:30 pm.

The incident took place on 8th March at 12:30 pm in Maxtern’s friend’s garment shop where Yadav allegedly busted the door open and started beating the victim.
Both of them has always had differences where both of them taunted and posted comments against them any chance they get on social media.

As per the post, both of them decided to meet up and settle their differences, but what was supposed to be calming ‘talk’ took an ugly turn.
The video evidence proves the basis of what Maxtern accuses .After the incident, Thakur gathered the courage to file a complaint against Yadav. With concrete video proofs and the creator’s visible injuries , the Gurugram police booked Yadav under sections 147, 149,323 and 506 of the Indian Penal Court.
Sagar accuses Yadav of ‘trying to break my spine’. He wrote in his police complaint that Elvish Yadav poses a threat to his life. He claims that the alleged and his fan pages had been spreading propangas against him.
Elvish Yadav’s clarification
Today, Yadav took his Instagram handle to share his side of the story with the caption,”First plan and play victim”. He even shared on his story that every story has two sides it’s time that public hears his side of the story.
He starts off with the differences that both shared as how after coming out of Big Boss since 8 months all tweets are against him are are directed towards him. He even says that they first met him on shoot set and they talked and bonded. But somehow the tweets and commentaries were bitter and a spark of controversial arguments was seen between them for which he confesses that once he told him that, “Yaad rakhiyo tu Delhi mein hai”(translation: remember that you are in Delhi).
One day, he asks him to meet up solve whatever the issues and differences they have . Both the parties agreed to meet in Gurgaon for which the Elvish points out that he uploaded and updated his every move before meeting from when he will reach, what will he do and how far he has reached.
Yadav asks him to meet in house says, “come to my house, for us guest is god, we won’t hit you inside home” he even claims that if Thakur has call recordings he can even prove his point.

The statement which fueled up Elvish Yadav was, “I will burn you and your entire family” ,says Maxtern, This comment made by Thakur heated Yadav up and for which he even verbally accused for it.
Elvish Yadav points out the loophole of the “plotting of Maxtern” that this was a whole set up when they visited the alleged victim’s friend’s garment shop with pre set cameras and mic attached to Thakur. He claims that socials media points that he was with 8-10 people and attacked one single man but in reality Thakur was not alone he was with 4 people inside the shop.
This was a plotted set up as when he was getting beaten up none of them came to stop him instead Yadav’s people came to stop him even in the record it can be heard that his people are stopping him from beating him up.
He asks a prominent questions that when someone abuses your family online i.e., “trolls you and your family what could you do? But the same when someone verbally abuses your family in front of you what would you have done? We are Yadav, the people of Yadav Jaat, haraynvi , rajput community I want to ask them one simple thing,” are you guys so coward that you will address such serious issues over seated calming conversations ? I did what I know right as I have the courage and I solved it from my perspective.”
Elvish then addresses the concerns of Thakur filing an “IPC 370” which is an “attempt to murder” which is baseless as per him. He says that he will stay calm and proceed with his investigations as the circumstances unfolds but urges the public to see both sides of the actual story and decide.
