The 54th IFFI (international film festival of India) was conducted in Goa. The festival started on 20th November and ended on 28th November 2023. The nine days of festival was concluded at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Panaji. In the closing ceremony golden peacock for Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award was given to the Hollywood legend Michael Douglas.
The Event
After screening 270 Indian and international film, which includes 25 feature and 20 non-feature films. The Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award was witnessed at the opening of the festival of IFFI 2023 which was given to Michael Douglas. The two time the academy winner is now 79 and he said it was “humble” the things are going on in world, festival was a reminder for him of the magic of moviemaking.
